RIM faculty member Dr. Jun Ueda has received the Early Career Award from the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
This award recognizes individuals who have made a major impact in the robotics or automation fields while in the early stages of their career. Dr. Ueda's research centers around bio-inspired robotics, specifically in the realm of muscle-inspired actuators. Dr. Ueda is presently an Assistant Professor in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering and runs the Bio-Robotics and Human-Modeling Laboratory. |
